Example of the teaching programme:

Pedagogical Objective 1st session
To be able to assist persons who present lymphatic disorder at the level of the lower limbs.

Pedagogical Objective 2nd session 
To be able to assist persons who present lymphatic disorder at the level of the upper limbs.

Pedagogical Objective 3rd session
To be able to take care of persons who present lymphatic disorder at the level of trunk, head and neck (cervix)

The training sessions will be conducted by Madam Françoise DUBOIS, Consultant and Instructor or ??? trainer in Lymphology.

Training programme :

1st session : Lower Limbs

	THEORY	PRACTICE
Day 1	Anatomy of lymphatic vessels (initial and collectors) Formation of lymph Circulation of lymph Ethiopathogenesis Manual Lymphatic Drainage (DLM) : Definition and Basic Principles	Pratice  of LVTMD basic actions LVTMD of the lower limb
Day 2	Anatomy of the lymphatic system :      lower limb Clinical Cases Techniques of putting on bandages at the lower limb level   - Choice of bandage type and motivation      - Demonstration of how to put on the bandage  Compression Stocking      Choice of the type of stocking and motivation Measuring at the lower limb level and  control o	LVTMD at the lower limb level

 

2nd session : Upper Limbs

	THEORY	PRACTICE
Day 3	Consultation round : Discussion on the clinical cases encountered by each of the participants since the 1st session Anatomy of the upper limb • Functions of the lymphatic system Physiopathology of the lymphatic system	Practice of LVTMD : Basic actions LVTMD of the upper limb
Day 4	Clinical cases Breast cancer Techniques of posing bandages at the upper limb level    - Choice of the type of bandage and motivation     - Demonstration of how to put on bandages Compression cuffs - Choice of the type of cuffs and motivation Measuring at the upper limb level and control of the efficiency of the treatment	LVTMD of the upper limb

 

3ème session : Tronc, Tête et cou et corps entier

	THEORY	PRACTICE
Day 5	Consultation round : Discussion on the clinical cases encountered by each of the participants since the 1st session Anatomy of the trunk, head and cervix Clinical cases	LVTMD trunk, head and cervix
Day 6	Techniques of  imaging the lymphatic system:    - Radiological Lymphography    - Lymphoscintigraphy Pathologies of the lymphatic system	Improvement of theLVTMD at the level of the entire body
